MY STORY
Born and raised on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota, just below the scenic Hawk Ridge area of Skyline Parkway, I draw ongoing inspiration from nature, a strong sense of place, and the values I was raised with—hard work, resilience, and a deep love for home and community.
With over 30 years in interior design spanning hospitality, retail, commercial, and residential spaces, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply our environments influence how we live, feel, and show up in our lives. Design, to me, has always been about more than how a space looks—it’s about how it supports the people living within it.
Alongside my design work, I created Country Proud Living as a space to slow down, reconnect, and intentionally design a life you’re proud of—inside and out.
Today, life feels grounded and full. I live in the country near Waverly, Minnesota, just outside the Twin Cities metro area, where I share life with my husband—my cowboy—our golden retriever, Rhuby, and the joy of time spent with our grown children when they visit. Together, we are proud University of Minnesota alumni, surrounded by a close-knit circle of family, friends, and community who form the heartbeat behind everything I create.
